This is Meng Yan, you can also call me Doris~
I’m a freelance illustrator as well as a children picturebook author.
I enjoy the feeling when I paint with mixed media, like putting different worlds together.
My BA background was visual communication design on China Academy of Art.
I graduated from MA Children’s Book Illustration, Cambridge School of Art in 2021.
Before studying MA, I worked in Hangzhou for almost two years as a visual designer and Motion Graphic animation illustrator, which made me fall in love with the narrative form of sequential images. Now I've discovered picture books and am fascinated by its unique charm and endless possibilities!!!!
